We pay more for two bags, €15 compared to €6 for one, because collecting two bags is more efficient for both the collection process and resource management.

When we collect two bags at a time, we can streamline our operations, reducing transportation and processing costs. This efficiency allows us to pass some of the savings onto our customers by offering a higher payout for multiple bags.

We’ll send you a supply of 6 FREE bags, perfect for collecting your bottles and cans. Fill them up at your convenience, and when you’re ready, simply hit the “Collect My Bag” button in the app.

Start by downloading our user-friendly app and signing in. This will give you access to our services and allow you to manage your collections easily.

Step 3 of how it works

Leave your full bag at the front of your house or arrange for us to meet you at the door and we’ll collect it, usually within 1 hour or less. After collection, you’ll receive payment directly to your account, making recycling both easy and rewarding!

1. Who is WeCollect for?

WeCollect is perfect for anyone in need of an easy recycling option, from busy households and seniors to busy professionals wanting to simplify their recycling process.

 

 

2. How do I schedule a pickup using the WeCollect app?

To schedule a pickup, download the WeCollect app, create an account, and hit the 'Collect my Bag' button. Leave your bag outside and we will collect it within 1 hour.


3. What types of recyclables can I collect through the app?

Plastic bottles and aluminum cans. The containers must be between 150ml and 3 litres in capacity. All eligible containers will display the Re-turn logo.


4. How do I get paid for my recyclables?

Once we collect your recyclables, you will receive payment into your account. 

 

5. How much do I get for my recyclables?

The payments are as follows:

 

We pay an average of €6 for a full (70cm x 130cm) bag.

We pay an average of €15 for 2 full (70cm x 130cm) bags.

​

The bags are the size of an average household bin bag.
